The Lux cinema is celebrating its 100th anniversary and is organizing, with the Wilson Center and volunteers, a festival to mark the event.

The program for this week, from Tuesday October 22 to Saturday October 26 (first week of school holidays) promises to be very rich, for adults and children alike: previews, fun workshops, a film concert and a film -kitchen !

Tuesday October 22

Preview screening, at 8:30 p.m., of the film Sarah Bernhardt, la divine followed by a friendly drink. Price: €10 per person, without reservation.

Wednesday October 23

From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a creative “cinema-krafté” workshop will be offered to children aged 7 and over. The morning will be devoted to creating a small set and the afternoon to filming on a green screen with the budding actors. Hosted by Sarah and Guillaume. By reservation, €15 per child.

At 8:30 p.m., preview screening of the film Louise Violet followed by a friendly drink. Price: €10 per person, without reservation.

Thursday October 24

At 4 p.m., screening of the animated film Ratatouille followed, at 6 p.m., by a “cinema-cuisine” with a cooking workshop on Rémy’s recipes which will end with a joint tasting! By reservation, €10 per person.

Friday October 25

At 8 p.m., film concert with the screening of the silent film Sportsman for love with Buster Keaton and live accompaniment from double bassist Emmanuel Fleitz, from the Man’Ok company.

The session will be followed by an aperitif dinner. Price: €10 per person, upon reservation.

Saturday October 26

At 2:30 p.m., movie snack with the screening of the animated film The wild robot followed by a snack shared with the families. Price: €10 per person, without reservation.

At 7 p.m., closing evening with the screening of the legendary film The big mop followed by an aperitif dinner. Price: €10 per person, upon reservation.

The Lux cinema offers other activities, starting with “a night of horror” for Halloween, Thursday October 31, from dusk until dawn. A program of three films, which should please fans of the genre, is in the works. The evening will begin with the screening of The Exorcist: Devotion (2023), followed by Evil Dead Rise (2023) and The Descent (2005).

Doors open at 9:30 p.m. and screening of the first film at 10 p.m. Entertainment, breakfast and coffee. Price: €25. Reservation recommended by SMS on 06 77 12 32 20. From 16 years old.
