Let’s go for the All Saints’ Day holidays! And to mark the start of this long-awaited period for families, a festival of lights takes place at Toulouse. And he’s not the only one. Slogan for this weekend of October 19 and 20, 2024just like the next few days? Culture and magic.

#1. Lights on the Quay

It’s THE highlight of the weekend. At the Quai des Savoirs, many interactive installations but also workshops and live shows will liven up the next two weeks. Kickoff? This weekend, since Friday October 18, the lights have been installed. The theme? Artificial Intelligence.

Lights on the Quai, at the Quai des savoirs, exhibitions can be visited until 8 p.m. Free.

#2. Harry Potter

The event should please young and old alike. And more broadly, to all fans of the Harry Potter saga. Near Toulouse, in Montauban, the exceptional exhibition on the Harry Potter universestarts Saturday October 19, 2024. Wizards, will you dare to enter the Forbidden Forest where enchanted creatures and magical challenges await you? The exhibition promises to be magical!

At the Jardin des Plantes, 10, Grand rue Sapiac in Montauban, Tuesday to Sunday, from 5:45 p.m. From €19 for an adult; and €14 for a child. Free for children under 3 years old. Online reservations.

#3. Apple picking

It’s delicious at Candie’s estate! The orchard opens its doors to anyone who would like to stock up on organic apples. The rules are simple, come with your baskets and pick as many of the available varieties as you want! The price varies depending on the harvest.

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Domaine de Candie orchard, on the border with Portet-sur-Garonne. Free entry. Until November 14.

#4. The guitar show

Any musicians around here? The International Guitar Show in will be held at La Cité de Toulouse on Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20. On the menu, riffs of course, music, superb violin-making pieces, concerts and surprises.

Saturday and Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (6 p.m. on Sunday), at the City of Toulouse. Free.

#5. Concert in a bucolic setting

Head to the Museum Gardens in Borderouge for a moment suspended in time. Pianist Lorenzo Naccarato will give a concert on Sunday, October 20, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., combining his piano, a small orchestra of tape recorders and a modified vinyl turntable.

Sunday October 20 at 4 p.m., in the gardens of the Museum de Borderouge. Free.

#6. Museums are full of activities
