The winning photographs of the Clin d’œil sur la Beauce 2024 competition were revealed Thursday during an awards evening which took place at the Marie-Fitzbach cultural center.
This year, the theme of the competition was “Lines and Curves”. A total of 101 photos were submitted.
Among the photographs received, around thirty were selected and a total of $1,400 was awarded as prizes to 4
amateur photographers.
The winning photographs are as follows:
Jury Prize ($400): Ephemeral art by Dany Mercier (Saint-Georges)
Wow Prize ($400): Celestial Diamond by Marc Doucet (Saint-Georges)
Wink Prize ($400): Sinuous Path of Marjolaine Giguère (Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce)
Public Favorite Prize ($200): Reflection by Isabelle Bureau (Saint-Georges)
The exhibition is ongoing at the Marie-Fitzbach cultural center until November 10. Subsequently, a traveling exhibition including around ten photographs will take place at different times in the municipalities of the MRC of Beauce-Sartigan in 2025.
The organizers of the competition have indicated that the theme of the 2025 edition will be “Ode to nature”.
