Hot Dog of Galactik Ensemble inaugurates the exhibition ON THE TRACK! Widhopff and the paintings of the Limoges circus theater from the Limoges Museum of Fine Arts (BAL), October 20, 2024.
2024 marks the centenary of the creation of a unique decor, created for an emblematic building in the city of Limoges, the Municipal Circus or Circus-theater.
The Museum of Fine Arts is organizing an exhibition along two main axes: the architecture of the place and its decor. Le Bal invites Sirque, Nexon’s national track arts center, to collaborate as part of the exhibition “EN PISTE! Widhopff and the paintings of the Limoges circus theater”.
Date postponed for one day
On the occasion of the opening, the Sirque offers Hot-Doga show by the company Galactik Ensemble. It is characterized by acrobatics on bouncing floors, to create a diversity of gestural landscapes.
Initially scheduled for Saturday October 19 at 5:30 p.m. and because rain is almost certain this Saturday, it was opted to postpone the show until Sunday at 4 p.m., still in the main courtyard of the Palais de l’Évêché in Limoges (free).
