CES 2025 will only open its doors in a few days, namely January 5. But, as usual, certain tech players have decided to reveal in advance some of the new products that will be exhibited there. This is the case for Samsung, which has just detailed no less than five new high-end monitors designed for video games and creation.

Top of the range boosted with AI and OLED
Let’s start with the Odyssey range, designed for video games. Three new models have been unveiled by Samsung, the OLED Odyssey G6, OLED Odyssey G8 and Odyssey 3D. The latter (G90XF) offers a 27-inch panel where a lenticular lens is hidden to offer 3D without glasses. AI is obviously involved in converting 2D videos to 3D.
A little more mainstream, the Odyssey G6 (G60SF) and OLED Odyssey G8 (G81SF) stand out for their format. The G8 is Samsung’s first 27-inch 4K (3840 × 2160) OLED gaming monitor. Its 240 Hz screen offers 165 PPI. The G6 is limited to QHD (2560 x 1440), but increases to a refresh rate of 500 Hz. Both are unsurprisingly Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 compatible.
Choice for all uses
More original, Samsung also unveils the Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF). Behind its 32-inch 4K OLED panel, this monitor integrates AI to “enrich entertainment and interactivity through intelligent image adjustment and search functions.“This is first of all capable of automatically detecting the type of content broadcast (games, video, apps, etc.) to adjust the display parameters. The M9 is also capable, thanks to artificial intelligence, of ‘upscaler low resolution content in 4K. Finally, a 4K camera is integrated.
Let’s finish with the ViewFinity S8 version 2025 (S80UD). Designed primarily for professionals, this 37-inch 4K screen (34% larger than the previous version) boasts a 99% sRGB color range. A KVM switch and a 90W USB-C socket are included to transform this screen into a productivity hub.
See you in a few days for the release dates and prices of these screens!
