El Dia de los Muertos arrives in for a colorful celebration

If in popular culture we celebrate October 31, we wait until November 2 in Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead (“the day of the dead” in Spanish in the text). And unlike their American neighbors, Mexicans replace the gloomy and frightening with an explosion of colors and music. To change events with post-apocalyptic scenography and skull cocktails that are going to rain in , the La Commune food court (Lyon 7th) offers an evening full of good humor and color on Saturday November 2.

Heading to Mexico to change pumpkins and fake spiders. For the occasion, La Commune unveils an attractive program: exhibition of Mexican works but also altars and carpets, workshop makeup and flower crowns, Mexican candy market, dtasting of “Pan de muerto and hot chocolate”, dance performance, DJ set with DJ Carlos. All concocted in partnership with the Quartz association.

And as always at La Commune, drinks will also be there to hydrate you between two wild dances with beers and cocktails to keep the crowd going. Obviously, we invite you to play the game with a colorful outfit…
