Over the nine days of the event, the festival has many highlights. Like every year, the Halle Tony Garnier will welcome the opening ceremony marked by the screening of the film “A ghost” by Christian Jaque. This film, shot in 1946, takes the viewer back to post-war Lyon.
“The film begins in an extremely foggy atmosphere. There are shots of the slopes of -Rousse, Place Antoine Vollon, the traboules, the quays. All Lyonnais will recognize everything, while being struck by the change”, explains Maëlle Arnaud, programmer of the Lumière Festival.
