He will have to carry 70 kg and give up weight in the race because he has just been penalized by 3 and a half kg during his convincing success on this course recently. Now he will have to be regular, fit and very hardened thanks to his flat races. The score is high but his trainer, Marcel Rollandremains cautious: “Chimichuri (1) won pleasantly in the last place. That said, he was penalized by seven pounds and will be playing on a much softer track which will not benefit him. In these conditions, his task seems quite difficult to me. “
12 – I will eat
This former horse from the stableArnaud Chaillé-Chaillé will make his return to competition and start for the team of David Cottin. It will be a return to school, and a first in handicap level races, but his new trainer is optimistic: “Comedam (12) is making a comeback but will be in good condition. He will be better in the steeplechase soon, but this race will do him good. A possible heavier track would serve his interests. I am expecting a good performance from his share.”
