Hélène Caspari and François Feraud, two lovers of Entrevaux, wanted to make music often described as elitist accessible to as many people as possible. This classical music and jazz festival from its first edition won over the entire village.

5 exceptional concerts

3 classical music concerts, a Slavic music concert and a jazz concert are announced this year from May 17 to 20, 2024.

Friday evening at the Cathedral at 8:30 p.m.let yourself be carried away by a reading concert around the works of Marc Antoine Charpentier. Along with the whole Albizziathe actor Robin Renucci (which we notably saw in “A French village”) will give his voice and his charisma to masterpieces of French literature, mystical poems of Victor Hugo or Alphonse de Lamartine, Paul Claudel and others.

SATURDAYdive into Slavic melodies with the Duo Galiahas the Multipurpose room at 4 p.m. then let yourself be lulled by the masterpieces of Beethoven and of Bach interpreted by the Trio Goldberg at the Cathedral at 8:30 p.m.. The Goldberg Trio was formed within theMonte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. It is one of the best string trios of its generation.

Sunday evening at the Cathedral at 8:30 p.m.it is once again the Goldberg trio who, with two musicians from the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, will offer a Schubert string quintet.

Monday, the festival ends in style with a jazz concert by the Djalamichto Quartet and singer Dénia Ridley in the multipurpose room at 4 p.m.

Entertainment for everyone

Beyond concerts, the Entrevaux Variations festival also offers entertainment for everyone. A writing workshop and a meeting with the poet singer François Anto await you Monday afternoon. Throughout the weekendstroll through the streets of the village between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and come across Nath&Dom’, violin-accordion duo.
