4 – FERN
Fern is going through a good period of form. Certainly, he has just had a string of good performances at the lower level but he finds here an interesting commitment (at the near post) in this Quinté+. He will certainly have to be reckoned with, because his rating is deserved. His times are not the best in the event but are good enough to stand out. Eric Raffin will find out.
8 – HULYSSE DIGEO
This 15/20 is also justified for him. His trainer Jean-William Hallais thinks he is capable of standing out: “Hulysse Digeo (8) finished very well in Laval on September 26. He is in good shape and will have his hindquarters removed, even if that doesn’t change much for him. He needs to run hidden, so he would be served by a race with pace. Enghien’s long straight could allow him to express himself, but he should not find himself too far behind. If he benefits from a good run of the race, he is capable of moving up. the podium.”
11 – HOLLYWOOD WOOD
The third and final 15/20 of the race is for Hollywood du Bois. This versatile trotter is faster in the harness discipline (like this Monday) and even when launching at the far post and starting at Enghienhe could justify his rank as an attractive outsider.
13 – MAPLE HAZARD
Finally, let’s end with the highest score, 19/20 for Maple Chance. At ease in Enghien (one victory in two races) he will also be able to count on his form and presents himself without iron at the front, a favorable context because he has nine victories and two places in twenty races (75% in the 5) in this configuration.
