Without a doubt, Khaled was one of the stars of this first edition of the Fun Festival, which was held from October 3 to 5, 2024 at the Casablanca Velodrome Park. Thursday, October 3, the raï icon ignited the stage and the public to the rhythm of his greatest hits, from “Aïcha” to “C’est la vie”, including the stainless steel “Didi”.

An atmosphere all the more festive as the Algerian artist’s performance comes after a long absence from Moroccan stages. A touching reunion for the singer who, in his declaration for Le360almost searched for words, visibly overwhelmed by emotion, evoking “the wonderful return” of “this audience which (he) had missed so much».

The same evening, the group Nass El Ghiwane also electrified the crowd to the sound of its legendary songs, such as “Fin Ghadi Bya Khouya” or “Ya Ahle Al Hal”. On this occasion, Omar Sayed, historic member of the Moroccan team, confided that he aspired to cooperation with Khaled.

A future song with Nass El Ghiwane?

An idea that the prince of raï welcomed with great enthusiasm, noting that joint work between him and the legendary group would be of great artistic value. “Of the original group, only two members are still there. I would love so much that we could do something together, that would remain for posterity“, he confided.

To conclude, Khaled said he was working on a new song, the sounds of which would be in line with current musical trends. “I took my time to be able to develop my work and adapt to this new generation“, says the singer with the characteristic smile. He will say no more, preferring to respond with a joke: “Before preparing the dish, I cannot say what I will present to the guests».
