Rayane has not said her last word

At the Roussels’ house, Jack puts Rayane’s makeup on to simulate a “black eye”. Karim’s nephew actually wants revenge on Alex and Tristan who made him believe the day before that he had discovered a real pearl in an oyster.

When he arrives at the Mas for his last day of TIG, Rayane makes Tristan and Alex believe that he has met a possible buyer for the pearl and that he has fallen into an ambush. Alex encourages him to file a complaint against his attackers. But Rayane claims that he doesn’t want Karim to find out and that he will stay with Jack until the bruise on his eye disappears. Alex and Tristan then admit to him that they played a bad joke on him, and that the pearl is not real. Rayane pretends to rebel. A little later, Alex meets Karim at Spoon for a drink and admits to him that his nephew was attacked because of him and Tristan. Karim pretends to be angry with his nephew. Alex is surprised that he is not worried about Rayane. Karim ends up confiding to him that Rayane played a joke on them to get revenge for their joke.

At the end of the day, Alex and Tristan apologize to Rayane for their tasteless joke. Then, Alex gives Rayane a bonus for his TIG, because he worked well. Rayane is touched.

Mona and Joël reach a milestone

At the Spoon, Mona serves Joël his coffee, on which she has drawn a heart. Joël takes the opportunity to invite him to dinner this evening. Mona accepts, delighted. Curious, Audrey questions Mona, who reveals to her that this client is very special to her. She then confides to him that Joël’s shyness, his modesty and his awkwardness upset her. She feels like she’s 17 again. Audrey emphasizes that she radiates happiness and says she is delighted for her. Mona asks Audrey not to say anything to Georges. In fact, she never introduced him to anyone.

A little later, Mélody invites Mona to dinner that evening. She specifies that Georges is available and that Lucien would be delighted to see her. But Mona declines his invitation and lies to him, claiming to have leftovers to finish. Surprised by this refusal, Mélody questions Audrey, who ends up confiding in her that things are coming to fruition between Mona and her secret admirer. In the evening, after a romantic dinner, Joël and Mona share their first kiss.

Rachel leaves Charles

At breakfast, Timothée and Bart discuss the case of the theft of the prize fund from the parade organized by Jessica Moreno, several weeks ago. Victor’s son is certain that Charles embezzled the money from the kitty via a shell company based in Corfu and which was created in January 2024, right when he was still living there. In addition, he was Jessica Moreno’s boyfriend and was therefore very well placed to steal the online prize pool codes and gain access to the money. But that’s not all. Timothée believes his father provided Charles with a false alibi to buy his loyalty. He now suspects Charles of having turned against Victor and of having tampered with Philippine’s car to frame him.

In the morning, Timothée gets a meeting with his father who confirms that he is right about Charles and the false alibi. The young man then tells him of his suspicions about Charles concerning the fire, the modification of the insurance policy and the sabotage of Philippine’s car. Timothée then asks his father if he is sad that Charles could do such a thing to him. Victor replies that he considers Charles only as an associate and that he has no particular affection for him. Timothy is relieved. Victor realizes that his son was jealous of Charles and tells Timothée that he loves him more than anything and that nothing will replace him.

Later, Victor is heard by Martin in the presence of his lawyer Raphaëlle Perraud. He admits to having provided a false alibi to Charles at the time of the theft of Jessica Moreno’s kitty. Raphaëlle emphasizes that this element changes everything. She puts forward the hypothesis that Charles and Philippine could be accomplices, because both have an interest in seeing her client incarcerated. Martin emphasizes that these are just speculations and there is no proof. On the other hand, they have evidence against Victor concerning Philippine’s accident. Victor points out that it is unlikely to sabotage a car while wearing a shirt with cuffs and points out that it was easy for Charles to steal this cufflink to trap him, because he is always at the estate. Raphaëlle decides to request an early release for her client.

At high school, Violette is not in good spirits. She blames herself for having supported Charles when he was suspected by the police regarding the theft of the kitty. She adds that if he is indeed the one responsible, she doesn’t think she will be able to talk to him again. Bastien tries to comfort her, but in vain. She decides to skip classes.

At the Spoon, Timothée meets Rachel and informs her that Charles has embezzled money from his ex-girlfriend’s kitty. Rachel doesn’t believe him. In her eyes, Charles is a righteous man who would never have done such a thing. Timothée replies that he is not lying. He adds that Charles is a dishonest and dangerous man and that she should stop seeing him. Annoyed, Rachel nastily sends him away and tells him to mind his own business. The young woman joins Charles and asks him for explanations. Charles confides to him that he is not proud to have Jessica’s kitty. He then explains to Rachel that after his hotel burned down, he had to borrow money from unsavory people, and that when they threatened to harm Jessica, he preferred to rob her rather than to put her in danger. Rachel replies that she is ashamed of him and asks him why he is not in prison. Charles responds that it is not a serious enough offense for him to be arrested right away, but that he will be tried. Rachel hopes that it will be so. Charles then assures him that he did not touch the brakes of his mother’s car. “Your word is no longer worth anything and I never want to see you again,” Rachel retorts before leaving.

Back home, Damien confides in Audrey. He is devastated by Charles’ actions and regrets that his mother was so lax with him. Audrey emphasizes that education is only a basis and that parents cannot be blamed for everything. Damien is also worried about the reaction of Violette, who adores Charles. Audrey reminds him that his sister is not alone and that they will support her, him and Jordan.

In the evening, away from prying eyes, Julien, the cellar master of the wine estate, meets the person who ordered the fire and the sabotage of the car who gives him a sum of money. He then informs the latter that Charles will be taken for the fire and sabotage. Then, he warns his sponsor: if he denounces him, he will fall with him. The sponsor reassures him by telling him that nothing will happen to him or to Charles either. He makes it his business. And this sponsor is none other than Philippine Julliard!
