The case being domiciled at the Rouen court (Seine-Maritime), it was the Rouen judicial police who traveled to Paris this Monday, September 23. The objective: to challenge Allan Liehrmann, the husband of the influencer Poupette Kenza, reveal our colleagues from Le Parisien.
The man presented himself last week at the French consulate in Dubai, where he has been living alone with the couple’s two children since Poupette Kenza was detained. There, he himself organized his surrender to the police.
He was arrested in particular for attempted extortion and possession of explosives. He was immediately referred, according to our information.
A video from another influencer seems to have identified him at the airport this Monday.
Since the beginning of July, the influencer Kenza Benchrif, alias Poupette Kenza on social networks where she has millions of subscribers, has been indicted for attempted extortion by an organized gang and criminal conspiracy.
She is currently incarcerated in the Rouen remand center, while she awaits the imminent birth of her third child.
Will her husband’s hearings help move the case forward? According to information from Le Parisien, Allan Liehrmann would have returned to France at the request of Poupette Kenza, because the latter hopes to get out of prison thanks to his testimony.
To this day, she still denies to have had the role attributed to him in this matter.
On February 23, 2024, the Rouen public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation after a complaint filed by two people, a couple who said they were threatened by a blackmailer, hired by Poupette Kenza and her partner. Identified, the alleged perpetrator of this extortion attempt was arrested during the meeting scheduled for the delivery of the sum of money.
During his police custody, he explained that he had contacted the victims in order to resolve a financial dispute which pitted them against a “influencer” currently in residence in Dubai.
The investigations carried out as part of the investigation tend to demonstrate the involvement of Kenza Benchrif, as the principal in this case.
Arrested on June 4 upon her return to France, the influencer is currently in pre-trial detention.
Contacted by France 3 Normandie, the influencer’s lawyers did not wish to comment. The public prosecutor of Rouen, Sébastien Gallois, indicated for his part that the investigation was underway.
