Anthony’s moving tribute, Anouchka’s impossible mourning

It was at home, surrounded by his family, that Alain Delon died on August 18, at the age of 88. Since then, his children have been coping with a difficult mourning. A month later, Anthony and Anouchka have each paid tribute to their famous father in their own way.

It’s already been a month since the Samurai passed away. A sad anniversary that his children did not fail to commemorate. This Wednesday, September 18, Anthony and Anouchka Delon took to their Instagram accounts to share souvenir photos and personal messages with their audience.

To mark this first month without his father, Anthony Delon chose to highlight a photo of himself in the series “Frank Riva”, broadcast in the early 2000s on 2. We recognize Alain Delon in the role of Commissioner François Rezzoni, known as Frank Riva, as he cleans his weapon while chatting with a kitten. “It’s so you… A month already,” wrote his eldest son in the caption. A photo that his half-brother Alain-Fabien had already shared with his Instagram followers in 2020, when celebrating their father’s 85th birthday.

For her part, Anouchka Delon shared a series of photos on her account: a Lourdes candle in front of a portrait of her father and a bottle of Dior perfume “Eau sauvage” (of which he was the muse), a souvenir video of their appearance on the red carpet at the Film Festival, when the actor received an honorary Palme d’Or in 2019, a few photos taken in the privacy of the family estate in Douchy, in , where Alain Delon died on August 18, at the age of 88…

“2:30 am on 08/18/24. In a few hours, a month without you. And it makes me anxious. A month without our moments. Without my hand in yours. And that until the end…”, Anouchka Delon wrote first. “A month that your grandson misses you. That he says to me: “Do you miss Opa? Can’t you talk to him anymore, stroke his hand or give him kisses? It’s okay mom, look there’s his photo there, here”. A month that every day around noon I have this reflex of wanting to call you. Like every day for so long. But that was before,” she confided, thus evoking her son Lino, 4 years old, born from her marriage to Julien Dereims.

“Delon is not dead. He has become eternal”

The 33-year-old actress then continued by writing: “I love you all my life… all my life I will miss you. All my life I will miss men of your caliber. The real ones. The ones who say what they think. Think what they say. Do what they say, and say what they do. The ones who make the right choices, and who keep their promises. Like you. Loyal. Even if it means displeasing. You, the first man in my life, who taught me everything. Who will teach me again. Who will continue to live for a long time. As so beautifully said on August 18: “Delon is not dead. He has become eternal.”

In addition to her husband and son, Anouchka can rely on her mother Rosalie van Breemen in her grief, who is also the mother of Alain-Fabien (30 years old). The former Dutch model was also at her children’s side at the funeral of the Samurai which was held privately in Douchy on August 24. “Curtains down, beautiful eternal night. I know that up there you found them, and you are well there. I miss you so much. I love you dad,” Alain-Fabien shared on Instagram four days later.

According to his wishes, Alain Delon was buried, next to his beloved dogs, in the chapel he had built on his estate. Only about fifty close friends attended the ceremony celebrated by Jean-Michel Di Falco: his friends Vincent Lindon and Nicole Calfan, Alain Terzian, Vincent Lindon, Thierry Frémaux, Valérie Pécresse, Rachida Dati, Patricia Kaas…
