Anne Cabardi, creator of the BAO Guide (Belles Addresses d’Occitanie), welcomed a group of subscribers for a gourmet meeting on Saturday January 18 at the Domaine de la Dourbie.
“From the ice cream parlor to the Michelin-starred restaurant, the guide allows all gourmands and gourmets to discover the little treasures around their home that we don’t know about”, she reminded them.
After a guided walk through the vineyards, participants then explored the wine facilities, including the cellar and the winery, where Marie, the estate’s account manager, highlighted its history and passionately shared her knowledge of its winemaking techniques. . The tour also included a tasting of the wines produced alongside local delicacies from the guide’s producers.
Members were able to appreciate vintages such as Joseph in red, Oscar in white and rosé or Tuf sparkling wine, each illustrating the unique character of the estate’s terroir. One of the participants, Michel Serrier, from Marseillan, set the tone for the atmosphere of the meeting: “They allow us friendly encounters around carefully selected, quality local products.”
