On his YouTube channel, Didier Raoult therefore announced the creation, with entrepreneur Nina Basri, of a cosmetology start-up, with the evocative name, “Magnifiscience”, promoting “the power of science combined with cosmetic innovation”. This initiative is rooted in particular in the work of Professor Raoult on acne when he directed the university hospital institute in infectious diseases of Marseille (IHU), to try to understand the role of the microbiota in acne.

Barely announced, the news made the rounds on social networks, provoking reactions from many doctors. It must be admitted that at 75 euros each for the anti-wrinkle bottles, the facelift sold by Professor Raoult does not go unnoticed.
