the essential
After a great mobilization at the end of the year, the blood donation association hopes to do even better in 2025.
The year 2024 ended on a good note for the Volunteer Blood Donation Association of Castanet-Tolosan. During the last collection organized on December 27 at the Salle du Lac, 157 people showed up. Among them, 134 donors were collected and the members of the association are particularly delighted to have welcomed 12 new donors whom they hope to retain for the future. A big thank you to them for their commitment! From December 16 to 29, each donor helped support the Enfants Cancers Santé association, thanks to the commitment of EFS Occitanie which donated €1 per donor. Thus, €157 was collected to help this noble cause. Great proof that donating blood goes beyond a simple medical procedure!
The objective of the BDSCT association, Volunteers for Blood Donation of Castanet-Tolosan, is to raise awareness of blood donation in order to increase the number of donors. She mainly intervenes during mobile collections organized in Castanet-Tolosan, but also in Toulouse and its surroundings depending on needs and events.
