The Cap Autonomy association of santé is launching a new cycle of therapeutic education workshops “At the heart of my health”, aimed at supporting people with chronic illnesses (diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cancers, etc.) in the improvement of their quality of life. The course will begin on January 24 at Cap Autonomie Santé.

“Maintain or improve quality of life with illness”

“Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) aims to maintain or improve the quality of life with the disease. Different themes are covered in the workshops: food, welcoming emotions, self-confidence, etc. It is also a time to share with other patients and healthcare professionals,” explains Bérénice Renambot, FTE assistant at the association.

After an individual interview with a professional, participants engage in five collective workshops. They also have the possibility of benefiting from an adapted physical activity program in partnership with the Maison sport santé de (against a contribution of €20).
