The Galléco association, named after the currency of the country of Redon, and the local group Les Écologues invited speaker Aline Fares, Thursday November 21, 2024, to the P’tit Théâtre Notre-Dame in Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine) where she will present her gesticulated conference Chronicles of an ex-banker.
This author and performer, who was a banker for almost ten years, recounts in this conference her experience in banks and then her commitment to the NGO Finance Watch to make society’s voice heard in financial regulatory reforms.
“Better understand the mechanics of the banking system”
The objective is to “do better understand the mechanics of the current banking and financial system and reflect on the levers for action in the face of finance, banks and their crises”indicate the Galléco association and the Ecologists, in a press release.
At the end of the conference, the comic strip The Machine to Destroy, or why we must put an end to financesigned Aline Fares and Jérémy Van Houtte, and published this summer, will be presented in conjunction with the Libellune bookstore. The designer will also be present.
