Two new appointments for a new boost to air navigation

The National Airports Office (ONDA) proceeded, on Tuesday, to the appointment of new managers at the head of two strategic departments of the “Air Navigation” Pole with the aim of supporting the constant increase in traffic in a safe and efficient manner. .

In a press release, ONDA indicates that in addition to the development and management of airport infrastructure, the Office, which ensures the provision of air navigation services in the airspace under the responsibility of the Kingdom of Morocco, commits to the launch of new structuring projects and investment programs capable of enabling it to respond to significant increases in air traffic and future challenges in the air sector while guaranteeing safe, efficient and more environmentally friendly air navigation.

To support this new impetus, ONDA has made two appointments. Thus, Mr. Hassan Fahmi was appointed Director of Operations of the Air Navigation Division.

A graduate in air traffic control, he has nearly 34 years of experience within ONDA, where he held several positions of responsibility relating to air traffic control and management within the Control Center. Casablanca regional.

Likewise, Mr. Fouad Naji was appointed Technical Director of the Air Navigation Division. Holder of an aviation safety electronics diploma and an industrial maintenance engineer diploma and with nearly 25 years of experience within ONDA, Mr. Naji has held several positions of responsibility , notably at the head of structures responsible for the development of radio navigation equipment.

Through constant work, ONDA ensures the modernization of infrastructure, the deployment of cutting-edge technologies and the strengthening of the capacities of its teams. This dedication translates into efficient and secure air traffic management, ensuring optimal fluidity for airlines, while meeting the growing demands of the sector.

ONDA also actively participates in international air navigation programs and projects of the European Air Navigation Safety Agency -Eurocontrol- to harmonize and improve air navigation services provided to users.

By investing in innovative projects and continually training its experts, ONDA positions Morocco as a regional leader in air navigation.
