Even though the number of cases of whooping cough has decreased significantly since the introduction of the vaccine, the bacteria continues to circulate. Since the start of the year, cases of whooping cough have increased sharply in France. More than 6,000 cases have been recorded, some of which were in nurseries in the department.
A worrying situation, but then why have cases of whooping cough increased in recent months in our country?
