This Thursday June 20, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., on the town hall square of Moirans-en-Montagne, the association The Zalulumés who is mobilizing to raise awareness of Charcot disease, offers to take up the challenge of participating in theIce bucket challenge. The principle: pour a bucket of cold water over your head. Explanations.

10 years ago, in 2014, the Ice bucket challenge was launched to raise awareness of Charcot disease. The challenge consisted of anonymous people and personalities pouring a bucket of ice water on their heads (like the cold shower that falls on the shoulders of the patient when the diagnosis is announced) and making a donation for research .

“For the 10th anniversary ofIce bucket challenge, we decided to relaunch a challenge. We would like as many people as possible to mobilize Thursday June 20, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. on the town hall square in Moirans-en-Montagne,” explains Romane Pandrini, whose father died of Charcot’s disease.

Come with a bucket of water and a donation

Romane Pandrini is president of the local association created in 2007 in Moirans-en-Montagne. “Everyone is invited to come with their bucket of water and a donation. Together, we will build a fund for research that is moving forward, but today, there is still no curable treatment,” she adds in the form of an invitation.
