Movember is an annual international charity event organized by the Movember Foundation Charity. The goal of this movement is to raise public awareness and funds for research into male cancers. To show their commitment, men around the world are encouraged to grow a mustache.
Prostate cancer is the second most diagnosed cancer in men worldwide, with one in nine men at risk of developing it during their lifetime.. This is why the MHB Endowment Fund is strongly committed to this cause.
Sunday, November 10, 10:00 a.m.for the 8 kilometer race in Montpellier, the club hired a team of runners who proudly wore blue t-shirts flocked with the famous mustache. The start of the race took place from Place de la Comédie.
The Endowment Fund and the Association will offer places for nursing staff during the match between MHB and Cesson – Rennes on Friday November 15. A small gesture to salute the immense work carried out by these everyday heroes.
During this month, MHB will host Cesson-Rennes on 11/15 and Ivry on 11/29 in the league at the FDI Stadium. Exceptionally for these matches, the players will wear a collector’s jersey with a mustache, the Movember emblem.
These jerseys will be sold for the benefit of the Collective during an online auction which will take place at the beginning of December on the site: https://drouot.com/
In partnership with the ICM, you will find multiple activities in the general public hall and on the square of the FDI Stadium.
During the MHB and Ivry championship match on Friday November 29, Movember will once again be in the spotlight with the presence of a main partner of the club: AESIO.
Numerous events and awareness-raising actions are planned for this occasion. Don’t forget to bring your best mustache…
At the end of the match, the MHB Endowment Fund will provide a check for 500 euros to the Étincelle Occitanie association to help them in research into urological cancer.
Through Movember, the MHB confirms its commitment to essential causes. We are convinced that with everyone’s involvement, our actions will have an even stronger impact.
