This Friday, November 15, at the Convent, a charity evening is taking place on the occasion of Movember, the event to raise funds for research into male diseases such as prostate or testicular cancer.

“The evening will be structured around several highlights.” From 7 p.m. and until 1 a.m. the next day, Friday November 15, the Le Couvent hostel in is organizing a charity event, entitled “Take care of your kiwis”, on the occasion of Movember, which helps raise funds intended for research against male diseases such as testicular or prostate cancer.

In the case of the local establishment, the choice of donations turned to the association of Urologists of the Montreal clinic. “I preferred to give locally rather than nationally”specified Maxime Camus, manager of the hostel and organizer of the evening. The total amount collected should allow the acquisition of a device ensuring directed and controlled biopsy of the prostate.
