Pride March Program

The SOS Group float will be near the vehicle of the Le Refuge foundation, which has been housing and supporting young LGBT+ people rejected by their parents and kicked out of their family home because of their sexual orientation or gender identity for 20 years. The emblematic media Têtu, saved and protected last April by the SOS Group and the Le Refuge Foundation, will also be present.

The procession will be composed ofSOS Group and beneficiary teams of its community health establishments, accompanied by DJ Amina, a regular at Parisian queer nights for 10 years.

The SOS Group will also be present on the Health Prevention Village through Checkpoint Paris, alongside other committed actors such as the Regional Health Agency, Sida Info Service, The LGBTQI+ Center, Vers Paris Sans Sida, Enipse… This village will be open to the public from 2 p.m., on the Place de la République at the foot of the statue.

Checkpoint Paris partners with Towards Paris Without AIDS and the Public Health Department of the City of Paris to offer documentation and prevention tools in sexual health, appointment possibilities at the Checkpoint, as well as two confidentiality areas with:

  • Prescription for complete laboratory check-up for people with PUMA or AME, with a doctor from the City of Paris
  • TROD HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B and C, with Checkpoint professionals

Checkpoint Paris will also offer several activities on the stand:

  • Team quiz with goodies: true/false on STIs
  • Milkshake of pleasures: tool developed by CRIPS, which allows discussions on the diversity of sexual practices, consent and risk reduction (contraception, single-use equipment, prevention of STIs, etc.)
  • Red flag / Green flag: game based on the violence meter to raise awareness of domestic violence

The teams will also be at the Marche des Banlieues on June 22, notably for a screening action.
