Twenty-five people attended the information meeting for the creation of the associative choir Les Chœurs du Val.

Élodie Romand, choir and singing workshop leader for nearly fifteen years, presented her approach: “ It is a moment of listening, sharing and collective well-being. The sessions will take place in several stages: relax, re-energize yourself to get into singing condition, become aware of your voice, reorganize your breathing to concentrate and feel good with yourself and others, tune your instrument and above all find the right ’emotion. The styles of music will be eclectic: French song, gospel, world music, jazz, classical, musical comedy. Multiple supports will be provided. Above all, it’s about meeting your voice in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere where demands meet joy.” Chloé Murat, president of the association and Claudine Valette Geoffray, secretary took over to provide administrative information. Classes will begin the first week of September, in the chapel adjacent to the church, every two weeks, at 6:45 p.m. and for a duration of two hours. Several performances are planned before Christmas at the church, over the years as part of the Pont du Gard Intercommunal Choir Meetings and probably for other occasions. At the end of this first meeting, taking into account the motivation of the choir director, the association office (Chloé and Claudine mentioned above and Geneviève Gadot, treasurer) and the enthusiasm of those present, everything leaves to believe that the adventure will be beautiful! All that remains is to recruit a few gentlemen!
