The new University Hospital Institute dedicated to hearing and speech disorders was officially launched on Monday November 4 in Paris. The Hearing Institute was established as a center for basic research. But what connects all hearing researchers is the desire to find applications for patients. This is why it was obvious to apply for the IHU call for tenders. Because the goal of an IHU is to invent the medicine of tomorrow. We are developing at the IHU all projects with clinical application over the next ten years. The IHU will facilitate the establishment of clinical trials to test new therapies on large cohorts of patients
