Of all sugars, sugar processed and added by manufacturers, particularly in children’s cakes, is the worst for health. Glucose-fructose syrup is a sugar produced from starch, usually corn. This is a problem because for manufacturers, it costs less, it is more stable and easier to incorporate into products. But this syrup is suspected of increasing the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction or stroke. In addition, this syrup also disrupts the satiety hormone.

Whether you eat apples, kiwi, grapefruit or any fruit, you will never have any problems. Indeed, they are sweet foods, they contain fructose, but an apple is hard, it is rigid because there is also fiber. These trap the sugar, limiting its negative impact.
