The Research Center of the University Institute of Geriatrics of Montreal (CRIUGM) is proud to announce that Sylvie Belleville, laboratory director at the center and full professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Montreal, recently obtained ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????-???????????????? ???????????????? of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy of Quebec (MEIE).
This award highlights the valuable contribution of Sylvie Belleville to the development of research institutions such as the CRIUGM of which she was the scientific director from 2009 to 2021 or more recently the Quebec Network for Research on Aging – RQRV of which she took the direction . It also demonstrates the importance of its scientific research, particularly on neurodegenerative diseases of the brain, such as Alzheimer’s disease, which has contributed to better detection and more effective treatment of the disease.
