As part of its 2024 activities, the NGO DJEBAOS organized on October 25 and 26, 2024 its 6th edition of the awareness and screening campaign for breast and cervical cancers followed by the vaccination of young girls at the headquarters of the said NGO, in Bouake.

Placed under the aegis of the National Cancer Control Program (PNLCa), this activity aims to contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality due to breast and cervical cancer.

“In fact, early detection allows women to know their status, to prevent cancer or to have better care so early. Because the earlier the screening, the more lives are saved…” said the lady. Bassa born Kouadio N’Guessan Colettepresident of the NGO DJEBAOS.

Note that Pink October is an annual communication campaign intended to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and to raise funds for the fight.
