The Western Cancer Institute will celebrate 100 years of fighting against disease

The Western Cancer Institute (ICO), whose head office is in , was born in 2011 from the merger of the René-Gauducheau center, in Saint-Herblain, and the Paul-Papin center, near the University Hospital of ‘Angers.

These two cancer centers (CLCC) which have become one will organize several highlights from the start of the school year which will be detailed later – exhibitions, open days, concerts, screenings, etc. – to celebrate their centenary.

The explanations of Pr Mario Campone, oncologist and general director of an establishment which today employs 1,400 professionals on its two sites, including nearly 600 in Angers, and welcomes 50,000 patients.
