Vaccination week takes place simultaneously in nearly 200 countries. In 2024, it will take place from April 22 to 26 and the Rodez hospital center (Aveyron) is mobilizing for this occasion.
On this occasion, the Vaccination Center of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Department of the Rodez hospital center is organizing actions throughout the department, for the general public and professionals. Visitors will be able to take stock of their vaccination, find out which vaccines require a booster and even create an electronic vaccination record.
The different meetings set up in Aveyron
- Monday April 22, 2024: Villefranche de Rouergue hospital center, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
- Tuesday April 23, 2024: Millau hospital center, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saint Geniez d’Olt hospital, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday April 25, 2024: Rodez hospital center, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Decazeville hospital center, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday April 26, 2024: Espalion intercommunal hospital, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 2 to 3 million lives are saved each year through vaccination.
