The PGA Tour (already) launches hostilities! As usual, the new American season starts strong with The Sentry. If Scottie Scheffler, injured, and Rory McIlroy are absent, this Signature Event (59 competitors at the start, no cut), still brings together fifteen of the top twenty golfers in the world rankings. More broadly, the players who established themselves on the PGA Tour last year and those who finished, in August, in the top 50 of the FedEx Cup were brought together to open this 2025 financial year.
