The Italian veteran (-29 total) resisted the charge of Swede Niklas Lemke to win by a narrow margin at the end of the sixth day of PQ3 of the European Cards. Seventh, eight shots behind, Clément Sordet and Bastien Amat, 22 years old, are guaranteed to play on the DP World Tour 2024-25, in the same way as the Arlesian under the Armenian flag, Jean Bekirian. Leader at the end of the first round, Félix Mory failed at the gates of the top 20, synonymous with playing rights.
The sixth and final day of PQ3 of European Maps organized at Tarragona (Catalonia) was undecided until the end: postponed for a day due to bad weather which had prematurely ended the fifth round, it delivered a breathtaking finale which saw several players engage in a great battle for victory, and many others scrap hard to join the top 20 synonymous with playing rights on the DP World Tour 2024-25 with a category 18 in his pocket.
Aged 43, the Italian Edoardo Molinarivice-captain of the last Ryder Cup has Rome but also from the next to Bethpagehad to make his experience speak for himself throughout his last game played on the course of the Lakes Course of l'Infinite Golf with the Swede Niklas Lemkeauthor of cards of 63, 64 and 64, and respond straight to his final birdie at 18 to win by the narrowest of margins.

Long second, Clement Sordet ran out of gas and lost ground during the fifth round with a card of 70 (-1) marred by his only double bogey of the week, followed by a final card of 69 (-2). He finished the tournament in seventh place (-21 total), alongside Very Bastien who showed a different face: after a third card of 74 (+2), the neo-pro passed the cut thanks to a card of 67 (-4) and returned two last good copies: 64 (-7 ) and 66 (-5).
Even if the former French amateur number one and representative of the Lobos (University of New Mexico) says he is already ready, it can't hurt before tackling the second stage of the Q-School of PGA Tourfrom December 3 to 6 at Valenciain California.
Jean Bekirianwhich decided to operate under the Armenian flag a few weeks ago, ranked tenth.
A great overall performance
Leader at the end of the first round, Felix Mory finished in 22nd place, one stroke away from qualifying, despite a final card of 65 (-6). Just like Illyrian Zalliwho will therefore not become the first player to defend the colors of Albania on the DP World Tour.
Same motive, same punishment for Robin Sciot Siegrist (36e), Sébastien Gros (38th) and Nathan Legendre (66th), who will have to settle for category 21. As a reminder, Damien Perrier et Aymeric Laussot had not passed the cut, but will still progress on the Challenge Tour after playing on l’Alps Tour in 2023-2024.
Overall, the French responded very well to the meeting. This promises for the 2024-2025 season!
