This is a film that has the merit of showing the sinister, sophisticated and intrusive methods of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, who hunt down their opponents wherever they are. To illustrate these crimes of the Islamic Republic, Iranian-Swedish documentary filmmaker Nahid Persson Sarvestani chose to tell the story of Rouhollah Zam, executed on December 12, 2020 in Tehran.
This son of a mullah, whose first name is a tribute to Ayatollah Khomeini, grew up in the circles of the Tehran elite, attended good schools, but joined the protests during the post-election uprising of 2009.
