FULL TIME, Rayo 1-2 Barcelona: A third straight 2-1 win to start the season, and this was certainly the toughest and hardest fought. After a horrible start Barça were amazing in the second half, and Dani Olmo completely changed the game and made plenty of new fans on his debut. A great win at a very tough ground for Barça. Well done, boys!

82′ GOAL!!! Rayo 1-2 Barcelona (Olmo): BARÇA TAKE THE LEAD!!! They can’t overturn this one as Lamine Yamal finds Dani Olmo inside the box and the new signing scores a beautiful curler on his debut to put the visitors in front!!!

73’ GOAL DISALLOWED: The goal is ruled out after a VAR check for a foul on Jules Kounde.

71′ GOAL!!! Rayo 1-2 Barcelona (Lewandowski): BARÇA TAKE THE LEAD!!! The comeback is complete as Lamine Yamal’s shot is saved but the ball falls to Robert Lewandowski, who finds the bottom corner and puts the visitors ahead!

60′ GOAL!!! Rayo 1-1 Barcelona (Pedri): BARÇA EQUALIZE!!! A beautifully crafted counter-attack ends with an assist from Raphinha and a perfect left-footed finish by Pedri!

SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Rayo 1-0 Barcelona: Back underway in Madrid! Let’s make a comeback, boys!

HALFTIME, Rayo 1-0 Barcelona: Barça made an awful start and fell behind, and continued to struggle for most of the rest of the half apart from a couple of good moments in attack. Overall this has been a poor performance, and the visitors need a ton of improvement to find a way back in this one.

10′ GOAL, Rayo 1-0 Barcelona (Lopez): Rayo take the lead. Barça try to play an offside trap but fail, and a cross by Jorge de Frutos from the right wing finds Unai López who fires it home from close range.

KICKOFF! Rayo 0-0 Barcelona: And we’re underway in Madrid!

WELCOME TO THE VALLECAS STADIUM!!! The tiny, cozy home of Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish capital is the site of a big The League clash between the hosts and Barcelona, who come into this one looking to maintain their perfect record to start the new season. But it won’t be easy against a Rayo side that is unbeaten after two games and always causes Barça tons of problems in front of their small but passionate home crowd. This should be fun, and you’re welcome to join us to follow and comment all the action. Let’s go!
