Quentin Pacher (Groupama-FDJ) believed in it until the last moments, but Wout Van Aert (Visma-Lease a bike) was simply too strong. The two men, members of the breakaway, fought for the victory of the 10th stage of the Vuelta this Tuesday in a sprint, and the Belgian won the stage quite easily. Van Aert, already winner of the 3rd and 7th stages, thus takes his third victory in this 2024 Tour of Spain and consolidates his lead in the points classification. Pacher, for his part, is deprived of a first victory among professionals.
