-

In partnership with Domitys, France Bleu is setting off on a new tour of France’s markets, as close as possible to you. This September 24, the tour will stop at the Saint-Août market with France Bleu Berry.

This is Robert Laberge, chef of the restaurant “ At Little Happiness » in Saint-Chartier who will be the guest by Philippe Verron and Maxime Daniel, and who will take up the challenge around local cuisine. With 30 euros, he will do his shopping on site and create a menu with starter, main course and dessert for 4 people.

Meet our teams in the heart of the Saint-Août market, with a studio and a fully equipped mobile kitchen for two hours of live broadcasts between 9am and 11am. After a tour of the city and its market, it’s time for the chef and his assistants to prepare a complete menu for you. Come and see us on site, you can taste what the chef has prepared.

The Saint-August market

The Saint-Août market, one of the most famous in Berry celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Located on Place Jean Gaillat and Route du Champ de Foire, every Tuesday morning between 80 and 100 traders take over the premises. The particularity of this market is that it sells poultry and other small live animals.
