“As soon as you enter the field, there is everything you need to be happy”

Andy Carroll dans Footmercato : “It’s just football. No matter what level you play at, it’s still football. And that’s something I want to do. A few years ago, when I was without a contract and had no club, I played every week with my friends. We played 11 against 11 matches on Thursday evenings. And playing football is something that I will continue to do as much as possible. You know, is a big club and I strongly believe in this project to quickly improve. So it was a no-brainer for all my friends and family to sign here.

I haven’t complained since I’ve been here. We have a fantastic training ground. The stadium pitch is incredible. We played away too and it was a decent pitch. I’m not complaining at all. I think that as soon as you enter the field, there is everything you need to be happy.

We are here this season to move up and we want to be promoted. I think that’s the goal of everyone at the club right now.”
