Florentino Luís was one of the best on the field in the Benfica team, this Wednesday, in the Reds’ 4-0 defeat of Atlético de Madrid, in the second round of the Champions League.
Display: “These three points and what each player did, what each one contributed to make it possible, are very important. When individuality appears, the collective also appears. We strictly followed the plan we had for this game.”
4-0 victory: “It was a very big team. We didn’t know we were going to win 4-0, but as the game went on we saw that it was possible and that we could create a lot of opportunities. We could have scored a few more goals, but the result is very positive.”
The best Florentine: “The team is very compact, when we are more compact it is easier for me, easier to fill space and recover balls, distribute to my colleagues.”
Five wins in a row: “That’s our focus. It’s still the beginning of the season, there are a lot of games and we want to continue this winning path.”
Expectations: “We are focused on what’s next. We have a championship to follow.”
