Liam Gallagher, 51, dedicated the title to the Half the World Awayof Oasis, to Noel, 57, during his concert at the Reading Festival, west London. The brothers posted the same 11-second clip on Sunday night, with this single message: « 08/27/24. 8am ». This message was also broadcast on the big screen at the end of the younger brother’s concert. Liam Gallagher also wrote on X on Sunday morning that he had not “never liked the word OLD”. “See you in the front row”he also retorted to an Internet user from the same network who commented scathingly “very bad place for a concert” an article from Sunday Times looking ahead to upcoming performances at Heaton Park, Manchester, in 2025.

The Sunday Times even reported a rumour that Wembley Stadium would be booked for ten dates.
After years of bickering, yet another altercation in the summer of 2009 between Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel, guitarist and composer of Oasis, at the Parisian Rock en Seine festival, led to the breakup of the group formed in 1991 in Manchester. Since then, the enemy brothers have long exchanged barbs on social networks or in the press.
The relative calm of recent times had fans hoping for a reconciliation. In an interview last week, Noel paid Liam compliments, praising “the tone of his voice and his attitude”.
