NEW MANAGEMENT FOR THE CIRCUIT BOURGUIGNON DE PRENOIS

Created in 1972, the -Prenois Circuit, which was long managed by François Chambelland, remains one of the emblematic places of motorsport in .

With its legendary route and modern infrastructure, it hosts national and international competitions while playing a key role in the economic and tourist life of the region.

For years, the Burgundian track was the scene of numerous French Grand Prix and even in 1982, a Swiss Grand Prix… Formula 1!

It is on this Dijon Prenois circuit that the French Renault Turbo team won its first everis Grand Prix… on Sunday 1is July 1979, with Jean-Pierre Jabouille at the wheel of the car.

That same day, no one among the oldest has forgotten the sensational and incredible battle, for the conquest of second place, between the Ferrari of the Canadian magician Gilles Villeneuve, and the other Renault Turbo, that of Grenoblois René Arnoux!

The Dijon-Prenois Circuit, a true institution in the world of motorsport, is therefore announcing a major strategic development, with a significant movement within its capital.

Two new regional shareholders, carefully chosen, are joining the capital structure in order to strengthen the fundamental values ​​of the company and guarantee its local roots.

This renewal also marks a turning point in the company's governance. After 17 years of dedication and success as President, Yannick MORIZOT hands over the presidency to new shareholder Vincent MARTIN (Photo)from the ROGER MARTIN family group (BTP), a solid Dijon company founded in 1895.

Yannick MORIZOT, while remaining in the capital, now assumes the role of Managing Director.

Under the presidency of Yannick MORIZOT, the Dijon-Prenois Circuit has established itself as an essential reference in motorsport, modernizing over the years and placing driver safety at the heart of its actions.

Its notoriety allows it to host prestigious national and international events, actively contributing to the influence of the Burgundian region.

The arrival of this new governance illustrates a common desire to preserve the company's DNA while being part of a dynamic of modernization and innovation.

This strategic change aims to strengthen the ambitions of the circuit on the sporting, economic and environmental levels.

Yannick MORIZOT, when handing over his functions, indicated and recalled:

“These 17 years at the head of the Dijon-Prenois Circuit have been marked by many challenges and just as many successes, always guided by the passion for motorsport and the love of our region. I am convinced that this transition will allow the circuit to continue to prosper and adapt to the challenges of tomorrow. »

Remember that Yannick MORIZOT is the brother of Yves MORIZOT, the creator of the very prestigious STAND 21 brand.

Who has also just recently handed over the reins of the company based just a stone's throw from the circuit, to TALANT, passing on STAND 21 to his children, including Romain, the new boss!
