To lead its future Formula 1 team, General Motors and the TWG group have appointed Graeme Lowdon, former associate of John Booth at Manor and current manager of Guanyu Zhou: a logical choice.
Fifteen months before its debut in F1, the Cadillac team is now represented by its new general director, Briton Graeme Lowdon (59 years old).
Close to Sir Richard Branson for whom he had managed the America's Cup sailing challenge, Lowdon was at the origin of the Virgin Racing team in 2010 with his partner John Booth, before becoming Marussia and finally Manor F1.
Manor then turned to endurance, first in LMP2 and then LMP1 with Ginetta, but Lowdon never left the Formula 1 paddocks completely, acting as a consultant or manager.

Lowdon will therefore lead the maneuver for GM/Cadillac after having already advised the Andretti Global team for two years and brought together numerous skills in the Silverstone factory, notably the experienced engineers Pat Symonds, Nick Chester and Rob White who are working on the future single-seater meeting the standards of the 2026 regulations by passing it in the wind tunnel at Toyota in Cologne.
