A young Le Havre supporter, only 6 years old, has been banned from the stadium by the Norman club until the start of next year.
Le Havre wants to be uncompromising with its supporters. It doesn't matter how old they are.
The Norman club recently banned a fan aged only 6 from the stadium for his behavior during the reception of Reims at the Stade Océane during the month of November (0-3), reported L'Equipe.
In the middle of the second period, the young boy was guilty of throwing projectiles in the direction of a friend of his.
Identified using cameras
These “projectiles” were empty paper cups and paper pellets and did not hit anyone. But they landed at the edge of the field, beyond the advertising boards, and these facts were included in the meeting delegate's report.
While the supporter was able to be identified thanks to images from video surveillance cameras, his parents were received by the club before being notified of the latter's decision by mail without them contesting it.
And the stadium ban, which also concerns his companion that day, was valid for the arrival, on Sunday, of Angers (0-1), and also concerns the receptions of Strasbourg (December 15) and Lens (in January ).
“It’s a little sad but we are obliged to act on these subjects and in the face of exacerbated behavior. We must raise awareness among those accompanying us and show that the stadium must remain a place of celebration, and not a place to let off steam,” an internal source at the club explained to the Team.
The young supporter will be able to return to the sidelines from the end of January when Brest arrives for the start of the return phase.
