Could Sergio Pérez be let go by Red Bull before the end of the season? Helmut Marko does not rule out this possibility.
Sergio Pérez is going through a more than complicated period, in fact, he has not managed to get on an F1 podium in the last 16 races. Over this period, he only scored 66 points, which dropped him to eighth position in the drivers' standings. These results also have repercussions on his stable. Red Bull, Constructors' World Champion the previous season, should indeed lose its title this year.
The team, which had taken the lead in the Championship at the start of the season, is now relegated to third place, trailing McLaren by 49 points and Ferrari by 13 points. This situation could lead to a significant financial loss for Red Bull, particularly in terms of income and bonuses linked to the final ranking.

Asked by OE24 about the possibility for Red Bull to “release ” Pérez’s seat before the final, the team’s special advisor responded: “We still have three races to go, so we should be able to do half of them. Maybe it'll work for us after all ”.
“If we win the title again this year, it will be mainly thanks to Max,” Marko said. “With his exceptional driving, he covered all the phases where the car was not really good.”
For his part, Max Verstappen will arrive in Las Vegas with the possibility of becoming F1 World Champion for the fourth time. To do this, the Red Bull driver must ensure he leaves the United States with a 60-point lead over Lando Norris. If he wins a fourth crown, he will join the very exclusive club of quadruple F1 world champions made up of Sebastian Vettel and Alain Prost. He will then only be ahead of Juan Manuel Fangio (5), Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher (7).
