Williams F1 will have two cars ready to race in Las Vegas this weekend.
After the Brazilian GP, boss James Vowles publicly admitted his concern following a series of recent major accidents for the team.
“No team on the grid can cope with five major accidents in two race weekends,” he declared.
“Quite simply, the amount of spare parts we have is not enough to support this level of attrition. We are going to do everything possible to get two cars to the best possible specification with enough spare parts to achieve this. “
“It’s hard to predict what that will look like at the moment.”
Over the weekend, rumors swirled that Williams might actually only have one car for Las Vegas – or might have to skip the race weekend.
But Williams said “While there was no truth to the rumors that they would not be in Las Vegas, both cars will be ready to race in Nevada.”
“This is an incredible effort from the team and suppliers.”
