team Visa Cash App RB (VCARB) will change its name and shorten it to Racing Bulls next season.

Red Bull's little sister will change its name (again). At the start of the 2006 season, the former Minardi team was renamed Toro Rosso, a name it will bear until 2019. In fact, from the 2020 season the team was called AlphaTauri. But the arrival of a title sponsor has once again changed the name of the team to Visa Cash App RB at the dawn of the 2024 season.

A very complicated and unrepresentative name in F1, the fans having fallen back on a simpler name. It is clear that this idea has made its way to the ears of the brand's leaders who have also decided to call their team Racing Bulls. In any case, that’s what Formula.hu reports.

The team should therefore adopt this new identity in 2025. The new name is, obviously, much easier to pronounce and gives the team a real identity in F1.

When the announcement was made in early 2024 that the team would adopt the name VCARB, F1 fans reacted strongly on social media, believing that this name was not the most appropriate. It seems that the team has taken this feedback into account.

However, this in no way means the departure of Visa and Cash App, which will remain strong supporters for the team led by Laurent Mekies.
