The Geoffroy-Guichard stadium and the ASSE club shop were the targets of several insulting tags. The “Bad Gones”, the main ultra group of Olympique Lyonnais, have signed their acts.

Tags insulting the Saint-Étienne team were noted at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium and on the ASSE Verts store, one month before a derby against , AFP learned from the club on Wednesday, confirming information from the regional daily Progress. For these damages carried out during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, AS Saint-Étienne confirmed to AFP that it had filed a complaint against X, specifying that the video surveillance images will be studied by the police services.

Saint-Etienne-Métropole, the owner of the stadium, indicated for its part that the “decision whether or not to file a complaint for the tags (…) has not yet been taken”. The huge logo of the Forézien club planted in front of the store was notably tagged with an inscription “Mort aux Verts” signed by a sticker of the “Bad Gones”, the main ultra group of Olympique Lyonnais, the great regional rival .

One month before the derby

The first leg of the derby between the two clubs is scheduled for November 10 at the Groupama stadium in Décines-Charpieu. Tags were also discovered on the installations of the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, notably with inscriptions on which one could read “69” and “Allez l’OL”.

On Sunday, a fight between supporters on the sidelines of the Ligue 1 match Lyon- (2-0) at Groupama Stadium left one person lightly injured, after a stab wound to the thigh, according to a source close to the matter. According to the regional daily Progressthe clash took place between OL supporters, several individuals having attacked the members of a new collective called “the Six Nine Pirates”.
