REPORTAGE – After yet another makeover, the courts of the complex welcome the Greenweez Major in a peaceful atmosphere appreciated by the spectators.

If an award for the best metamorphoses existed, it could be awarded directly to the Roland-Garros complex. In just six months, the Porte d’Auteuil stadiums have undergone two complete transformations in order to host three international competitions. From the dominant green during the French Open to the pastel colors of the Olympic Games sublimating the ocher of the clay court. At the beginning of September, however, the latter has given way to blue fields, surrounded by a mesh cage. For the third year in a row, the Greenweez Paris Major has set up shop in the French capital.

Far from the frenetic excitement of spring, the paths are revealed and the pace of the walkers’ steps between the courts has slowed down. “ It’s very nice to come here at this time of year. There are a lot fewer people », smile at Consort Emmanuel and his daughter Eva, both of whom came to discover this sport, which they practiced…
