Gina Schumacher, the daughter of the former F1 world champion, married Iain Bethke, her partner of seven years, this weekend in Mallorca.
A happy event. Together for seven years, Gina Schumacher, 27, and Iain Bethke, 28, got married this Saturday, September 28. The daughter of the famous Formula 1 driver, victim of a tragic skiing accident in 2013 in the resort of Méribel, shared the good news on Instagram.
“Forever, yes for you, yes forever,” published Gina Schumacher on her networks, alongside a photograph showing her in her wedding dress alongside her husband.
The couple married in the Schumacher residence on the Spanish island of Mallorca, purchased in 2018, reports Gala magazine. It was outdoors, on a beautiful day, that the duo exchanged their vows, during an intimate and family ceremony.
The bride’s mother, Corinna, was present, as was her brother Mick, 25, also a racing driver like his father, as well as his uncle Ralf Schumacher, who came with his French companion Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne.
On the other hand, no one knows if Michael Schumacher was present. Since his terrible accident, the seven-time world champion, whose state of health remains mysterious, has lived far from view in Switzerland.
Both riders, Gina Schumacher and Iain Bethke met through this sport, which Michael Schumacher’s daughter practices at a high level in the western riding category.
